SAFETY

Ensure required PPE is worn at all times, ear plugs, closed shoes, overalls and gloves.

PROCESS OVERVIEW

  1. Place the coated part in the checking fixture to confirm it is left or right hand.
  2. Place the part in the painting jig.
  3. Paint the part.
  4. Place the part on the drying rack.
  5. Wait for the paint to dry.
  6. Place the part in the dunnage according to the packaging instructions.

CHECK HAND

Place the part in the checking fixture to confirm if it is left or right hand.

 

The RIGHT HAND should be painted ORANGE and the LEFT HAND should be painted GREEN

PAINT PART

Place the part in the painting jig. Ensure the part lies between the pins and flat on the surface of the base plate. Close the clamp over the part and paint between in between the sides of the clamp.

NOTE

  1. Only paint the top of the part.
  2. Do not use to much paint or it which drip.
  3. PAINT ALL THE SAME HAND TO ENSURE THE ORANGE AND GREEN PAINTS TO NOT MIX IN THE PAINTING JIG. DONT NOT PAINT ONE LEFT THEN ONE RIGHT

DRYING

Place the part on the drying rack.

Ensure the parts do not touch each other to avoid the paint marking other parts.

Wait for the parts to dry before moving them to the dunnage.

QUALILTY

  1. Ensure there are no paint drips on the part.
  2. Make sure there is no paint elsewhere on the part. If there is ensure the paint is cleaned before proceeding.
  3. Make sure the paint is dry before packing.

PACKAGING INSTRUCTION

  1. Pack the parts in box size 4311.
  2. Place a quantity of 300 in each box.
